I am really interested in the 251 capsule sound.  I am also leaning away from a FET design like the U87.   So - I am ASSUMING that with the 251 capsule, a tube and transformer design, the mic is more 'smoother' in the top end, compared to the venerable U87.
 
Anyone have a chance to use this mic and what are your thoughts?
