I don't think you can hide programs. Just extra features.  I have Pro, Plat and Home Studio. And you are correct those are the only options for those.
The hide function does not stop CCC from scanning. It just removes them from the list so the RED lights don't bug you.
Because I have all the extra programs and their content it take a long, long time for CCC to "wake Up" About 10 minutes usually.
