Sonar's literature doesn't really explain much about the 64 bit dpe,

It's the 64bit part of the 64bit floating point mix engine.
I have had it checked since SONAR 6 came out and have never considered turning it off.

me too....I guess unless I want to use the new LP and MB for the short term.

These will replace the previous versions and will continue to load in older projects that used the original versions.

quoted from the above sticky thread, not sure if he is saying it will do away with the older dll and/or update them...   AND.... will this new version load as a replacement in older projects...or can load....or what??

After seeing a post last night regarding the new LP Eg, I launched the CCC, and installed it. I tried it right away, and loveed it. I was able to access the presets which are located next to the BYPASS switch where it says "default". Click on default and  it will expend displaying 2 folders, one for Mastering, and another one for mixing with lots of presets, and I'm loving them

In the third line he says
