Hey Kenny, thanks!  Missed that one ...

For starters, one big improvement is that if you try to insert these plugs in Reaper or another 3rd party DAW, you no longer get this!

Another big improvement is that the presets now have a number of "Mixing" presets, with non-linear set as the expert default setting.

Previously, these excellent plugins defaulted to one of the linear settings, which was a non-starter (due to the look ahead buffering required for linear processing) if you tried to insert it while tracking or mixing, rather than mastering.  The mastering presets still use the linear options.

Hi abacab ,

I look up at the sticky area of the SONAR forum often to see what's happening or soon to be happening  .
It never occurred to me that certain threads up there don't move up to the top of the sticky area .....

This thread is the thread that got me hip to these wonderful gifts from Cakewalk ...
Then I found the official announcement for these plugs where it was the whole time .

Yes , I'm happy that both the LP-EQ and the LP-MB are not locked to SONAR only .
I gave them an audition in a few 3 rd party DAW's I use from time to time yesterday ...
The LP-EQ and the LP-MB  are very welcome additions to Harrison Mixbus, Samplitude Pro X 2 and Reaper ...
When I update my other machine I will try them out in A..Live and a couple of other  3rd party  DAW's ...

What I'm about to say is something I truthfully mean ....
Most of my time spent in other DAW's is totally enriched only because of the unlocked Cakewalk content
I may know one or two little things I may or may not know how to do in SONAR correctly workflow wise ...
Either way , everything musical I'm doing over here eventually ends up in SONAR anyway ...

have a good one ,

Kenny
