I'm trying out Dimension Pro for bass lines, and since they play one octave lower than any of my other bass VSTs, I tried to use the Transpose function in the upper left quadrant of the display. I click on it and try typing in 12, and nothing happens. I've tried right clicking, and I've tried using arrow keys. Any idea why this doesn't work? I'd appreciate any help.

Do you mean that nothing gets typed into the transpose field, or that after you type in 12, that there's no transposition happening?

If it's the former, have you enabled "give all keystrokes to plugin" in the top right of the VST? It looks like a keyboard, and most often solves keyboard input not working.

The upper transposing s may be limited by SFZ formatting, which is why it can't transpose.

JesDes,
Thanks. Nothing gets typed in the box. I'll try your suggestion and report back. AT, I'm not sure if that's the case, because I've read that other users have gotten transposition to work on the bass sounds.

Try click+drag up/down or click then wheel.

Thanks to all for your help. Using the up and down arrow on the cursor keypad did the trick.

I have set it up as a standalone and practiced using it live for quite some time, with a couple different very CPU-intensive programs, and it performed flawlessly. ????
