Does anyone have any experience with this type of stand?  I don't find much in the way of reviews on Google searches.  I'd really like to know how stable the hardware is and what the response is like.  The cabled remote hi hats worry me with all the complaints about sluggish response, even the DW 9502 LB.

A set up like this allows the hi hats to be set up in front of the snare, ending cross sticking and opening up that side of the kit.  Absolutely loving the feel of a hi hat set like this, but worthless if you can't reach the pedal!

Definitely looks a lot better than the old cable setups. I don't have any helpful information for you though, sorry. I would be very interested to know how it works for you if you decide to get it.

Just a thought, but wouldn't this be a good question for a drum forum?

That's what I do whenever I have a question about just about anything.
Most forums are easy to join. My latest is on Smoking meat.

Yes, it would.  But I always like to post here on Cakewalk.  Definitely going to join a drum forum though.  I'm kind of irrational about more memberships, user names, passwords....
