OK, I know this is a a really simple question, but I've been looking at the online documentation for 15 min without success.
 
I inserted AD2 in my project.  (Separate synth and midi tracks).  I dragged some MIDI clips from the AD2 interface onto the midi track.  I want to edit some of them manually.  I click on the clip on open the piano roll view, and I get the piano notes in the left hand pane, not the drum names.  I can't figure out how to change the piano keyboard to drum names.
 
I thought I must have to assign the midi track to a Drum map output, but the list of like 300 drum maps doesn't seem to have one for AD2.  What am i misssing here?

The names are derived by a calling a function in the plug-in. AFAIK, only two companies add the information to their plug-ins: Cakewalk and FXpansion. At least, they are the only two I have that supply the info.  XLN never implemented the function. It is possible to add the information to the master.ins file ".Note Names" section. Master.ins is a text file in your user directory. Entries in ".Note Names" show up in the drop down Note Names dialog displayed when right-clicking the PRV keyboard. Alternately, a drum map will display names in the Drum Grid pane. AD2 map is here http://blog.cakewalk.com/drum-maps-ad2-in-sonar/
 

Thanks, but which drum map do you suggest I use with Addictive drums?  I cannot find anything under XLN or Addictive in the default list

Yep that works.  Wonder why Cakewalk didn't just put that in the defaults

I think scook's method is best, but I wanted to offer an alternative:
 
I wanted to use MIDI drum tracks from other sources with AD2, so I ended up changing the mapping in AD2 from AD2 Standard to General MIDI (GM). (Click the ? at top right, select Map Window, select GM from the drop down at top left, click Set this as my default at bottom right, and click OK.)
 
If you do that, then you can just choose the "GM Drums" drum map as the output on the MIDI track.
 
Always more than one way to do things in Sonar.
