Can a SPLAT for Life Owner transfer the license to Track Factory.
Besides, what good is this anyway compared to a computer system.
It does not say if one can add your own synths and plugs. I cannot live without my Native Instruments for starters.

Why would you buy it if you already own Sonar??
It's a rather pathetic little computer and a basic interface. All can be bought for a better price individually. It is marketed at first time buyers who don't want to figure out how to install Sonar and whatnot. In the video the dude seems to be drunk and cannot even plug in a USB cable.. yet you will still have to do this when you open the package unless they are shipping it with the USB cable already plugged in :)
terrible marketing shame on Gibson.

I don't see any reason to, unless you wanted a better computer. But then you could just buy the computer.

I have to disagree with that. I don't know if you've actually used a computer integrated by PC Audio Labs or are just speculating, but I have a NUC-based SONAR setup as my "Studio B," which runs the Apollo Twin USB interface (and was the subject of a Pro Review on Harmony Central...I've put a lot of hours on it). The NUC is expandable for those who want more RAM or other storage. But the main attraction is that it's customized by PC Audio Labs. They take out all the crap and boot-up services you don't need, make the tweaks you do need, and their hardware support via Obedia is outstanding.

There are several excellent computer integrators for music - Studio Cat, Sweetwater Creation Station, and ADK come to mind. I've been using PC Audio Labs computers since Vista, and I truly believe the main reason why my SONAR/Vegas system is so stable and performs so well is because of the hardware they choose, and the tweaks they make.

(Also while the US-2x2 interface is basic, the audio quality equals, or exceeds, anything else in its price class. I ran specs on it with Right Mark's analyzer for an article explaining audio specs, and they're impressive...especially intermodulation distortion, which was so low I had to circle it on the graph so people wouldn't miss it.)
