I just received a job where the output specs are:
CITTT ulaw 8-bit 8khz
An output test using wav 44.1/16 (as originally recorded in Sonar before I received the specs) did not work.
Any way to export this in Sonar?
I'm trying to use Adobe Media Encoder to get it to CITTT ulaw 8khz but can't get it to 8-bit.

Not that i know of, i may wrong.

It seems you can import a wav file in Audacity then using the "save as" function, change the parameters to what you want.

This old post should help : http://forum.audacityteam...c.php?f=16&t=61480

Cheers,
Jerry

You might be able to do it with Audacity

Just export it normally and change the format in a wave editor.
That's what wave editors are for.
There a few free and almost free editors. Wavosour , Gold wave ,Audacity see which ones have those option in converting.

Audacity isn't great at format conversions, unfortunately, and I don't know if it supports uLaw anyway. Adobe Audition can do it, but that's a pricey solution for a one-off job. Try this one. It's what Cisco recommends.
