If I purchase the TH3 upgrade from the version included in SPlat, (for the dandy price of $149) will I get a full version including stand alone, that may also be used in any DAW?

Yes, I did the same purchase a couple of weeks ago.  It is the FULL version. Overloud won't sell the upgrade directly to customers if you are upgrading from SONAR and you must purchase this upgrade from CAKE to get the discounted price.

Not only is it the full version but I expect it will also be valid for getting Overloud's upgrade pricing for a hypothetical TH4 if that ever comes out.  I had purchased the TH2 upgrade from SONAR and was able to upgrade to TH3 at Overloud's much nicer direct upgrade price ($66 at the time via a discounter) and a month or so sooner than SONAR even had the bundled TH3 and associated offer available.
