I am dying for the MAC version... Due to the downsizing of the music industry I've had to start recording Voice Overs at Video Houses for extra income. I'd give anything to be able to use Sonar instead of "SlowTools".

Why can't you record voice overs in SONAR (on a PC laptop)?

Recording a VO on a laptop in Sonar is not a problem.  Mixing and syncing to picture on my laptop is.  I've gotten use to using a lot of Plugins that are hogs that kill my laptop.  I'm not about to spend another $2500 so I work more as a mixer....if it was music I'd do it in a heartbeat.

This looks like a perfect SNEAK PEEK for NAMM?  Does CW have a booth?

They may, but as I recall last year it was bandied about on this forum that software at NAMM is not as big a draw/sensation as it was in the early days (of DAWs, VSTs etc).

I was at NAMM last year and Cake was "stationed" in the Gibson room as were all the other Gibson brands. Not very noticeable to the passerby individuals.

Image Line has started working on a Mac version long before Cakewalk and it's not finished.  I would imagine it probably takes some time since they've been Windows only.

It certainly is nice to know that Mr. Anderton is working for Cakewalk during his spare time of evenings and weekends.  Maybe someone from Cakewalk that devotes most of their working time developing Sonar could help inform us.  After all, if I devote most of my time to making music, do I want to play with someone who devotes 10-15% of their time?

Craig's turned into the corporate man from the cool dude he used to be back in the day with all the neat electronic projects in the magazines; he doesn't much care about the common man/end user anymore.

That is, quite frankly, an idiotic statement and a clear indication that you aren't a frequent visitor to this forum.

This is pure nonsense. You clearly have not been at this forum for last four years.
