It certainly is nice to know that Mr. Anderton is working for Cakewalk during his spare time of evenings and weekends.  Maybe someone from Cakewalk that devotes most of their working time developing Sonar could help inform us.  After all, if I devote most of my time to making music, do I want to play with someone who devotes 10-15% of their time?

Craig's turned into the corporate man from the cool dude he used to be back in the day with all the neat electronic projects in the magazines; he doesn't much care about the common man/end user anymore.

Wow, how novel, a completely unprovoked and unjustified personal attack on Craig! Never seen that before. Will wonders never cease?

What an absurdly stupid comment. Craig has been extremely generous in sharing his time and talent with the SONAR COMMUNITY. I am (and I believe, MOST users are) greatly appreciative of all his efforts. I don't understand all the animosity towards someone who contributes so much. Inevitably those who seem to target Craig or his contributions the most are those who contribute the least themselves. Trolls, One liners and snarky critiques without substance. These forums would be far, far less valuable to the user base without the contribution of Craig and all the other wonderful users who add so much.
Amazing, amazing.... Just.... Wow....

Couldn't say it any better.

I have no words. Wait. I have three: thoughtless, infantile ingrates.
Craig is the best example I know of the passion and sense of contribution that makes this forum great.

Funny, that's just what I was thinking about this:

Not the only example, to be sure, fortunately there are lots - just as there are, sadly, of the opposite - but I think it's safe to say that most of us appreciate what Craig contributes here more than we appreciate the people that feel the need to attack him (though again, horses for courses and everyone has a right to their opinion). Hopefully he knows that by now and it helps take the edge off...

It's obvious from his posts and resume that he is focused on results.  He doesn't let the bumps in the road stop him from doing what he sets out to do.

Most people can tell the difference between constructive criticism and purposeful negative harassment. I now Craig has class and would help anyone who genuinely has a legitimate issue or a different opinion, no problem.

Obviously what has been going on round here is classless personal attacks with no contributing value whatsoever. With this kind of garbage, perhaps it is time to locate the source of the trash and take out the garbage. For the overall benefit of this community, I would have no issues if it was trash day.

Different opinions are welcome, but not pointed personal attacks. There is a difference.

This thread seems to have deteriorated into personal abuse aimed at Craig Anderton. I thought the terms and conditions for the forum, which we all agree to when we use the forum, say personal abuse and attacks are not on.

Just for the record, I regard Craig Anderton as a very positive, helpful, experienced and useful member of the community here.

But my concern about such personal attacks on a forum member would be the same no matter who that member is.

This is sad really that you would go out of your way to attack other good members of this forum.
