It certainly is nice to know that Mr. Anderton is working for Cakewalk during his spare time of evenings and weekends.  Maybe someone from Cakewalk that devotes most of their working time developing Sonar could help inform us.  After all, if I devote most of my time to making music, do I want to play with someone who devotes 10-15% of their time?

This is sad really that you would go out of your way to attack other good members of this forum.

Personally I agree with what BASSIC Productions has written. Anderton may be a valued member of this forum; if only he produced that same value with Gibson/Cakewalk and not only 10-15%. When someone puts themselves out as a face of Gibson/Cakewalk they had better be able to produce answers to questions liked asked about in this thread other than to say what was said. CA had and still has the opportunity to set the record straight about what's going on with SonarMac and I think that's something everyone here would appreciate.

Craig has not put himself out as the face of Cakewalk at all. In fact he has repeatedly said that he works for Gibson, not Cakewalk. He is employed by Gibson. In his spare time, above and beyond, he contributes here.

The question about the Mac version is not his to answer. The employees of Cakewalk may or may not answer depending on factors going on which we have no idea about.

Maybe they are close to an announcement and are waiting for that. Maybe they don't want to reveal all their goins-ons to the competition until they have something solid to announce. Any number of reasons... but none of those reasons have anything to do with Mr. Craig Anderton.

Also, this is a peer-to-peer forum, not an official customer service platform. It is a bonus to hear from the Bakers, which we are lucky to have more often than not. Craig is not a Baker. Is this really so difficult to understand?

Mr. Anderton's contributions are so valuable it is a shame to have to mention that positive part next to such rubbish. It seems demeaning in some way.

I thought that everybody can see what Mr. Anderton delivers daily in this forum
and  can respect him as a gift for us.
To use a person like him as a punching ball is simply - sorry- dumbest behaviour .

Who ever said Craig put himself out as the face of Gibson/Cakewalk ?
Or do you have any links you could post that says Craig is the face of cakewalk ? Funny, I thought that was Jim laundry, Cakewalks Vice President.

Craig is here just like any other member not because he is the "face of Gibson or cakewalk".
He doesn't control what cakewalk does.

Craig's turned into the corporate man from the cool dude he used to be back in the day with all the neat electronic projects in the magazines; he doesn't much care about the common man/end user anymore.

and you really do ? please tell me your joking.  attacking other users, then claiming others don't care about the "common man".

So have at it. you and basic pro can share this forum by yourself when its just you 2 left because you drive good users away with your "I deserve answers now" attitudes.

Matter of fact, not that you probably care, but you wont find me replying to any of your questions or comments ever again. Blocked !

If you work for Gibson and post on a Cakewalk forum you are the face to whom people respond and in this case that's CW. Doesn't matter who signs Anderton's paycheck. That his past contributions may have been valuable doesn't even enter into this. I don't play politically correct to the precious snowflakes of the world and call them as I see them (that others do the same is no skin off my nose). And right now anyone that could shine a light on what's going on with SonarMac is a fair target. You can't help but have heard something of what's going on with this even wandering the halls if one keeps one ears open.

To explain to those who wonder why I'm on about this I got excited when I heard about the possibility of Sonar on a Mac when all along when I was an active member of this forum years ago it was poo-pooed whenever someone brought up the possibility of Sonar going to Mac. When someone or some company says they're going to do something and can't or won't deliver that's when I get po'd. If that ruffles feathers - so be it.

And if someone doesn't like what I post then get with the moderators and have me banned.

see that's your problem really. referring to human beings as "targets" .. or the "precious snowflakes".
You simply care about no one but yourself. there is a lot of good people on this forum including Craig who help people all day long. but you don't care about that. its "no skin off your nose". as long as its good for you right ?

Jeez guys.... can't we talk about something safe, say politics?     Sorry, I  just have a bad case of "who cares". For the life of me, I don't get the "mac" deal. I mean, why pay twice as much for an essentially off the shelf system?   Ok...  that should get the ball rolling! Ha Ha... hey! y'all know I am kidding right? WAIT A SECOND you over in the corner....  What is that you are throwing at me..... argh!!!!!!!!

Ok, now back to our regular program...

They are frequently a testy bunch...especially when they think it's cool to speak Klingon (at least, that's what Google says it is...)

In my experience the people who spout variations of this rhetorical phrasing are generally the whiniest, "snowflakiest", delicate little flowers around.

Thanks for adding an extra data point to this anecdotal observation.

You took a relatively polite request for information and made it all about YOU and how YOU are the "victim".

Just callin' 'em like I sees 'em. Certainly an individual of such rugged character will apreciate my forthrightness.
