Sir Les
Hello all.

Not saying too much in this forum...this time round.

MS remote viewing of Event viewer and errors and warnings and such...could not be resolved by tier 2 tech support.

Although they have tried to do so...the system is now said needs the new 1607 build to solve the issues hidden and or not able to resolve by them or others...Others saying they are not MS supporting to fix MS issues...So we went to MS to fix issues updates caused!

Now...they want me to update this to the next...because they tried to migrate the os to the new one...but it would not install as done....A complete wipe out is now necessary to move to the new build 1607////with my new gear...not working right as is.

And as I am kind of new to cake walk...trying since windows 7 to get this or other machines to work right...but never getting that.....And I walked in many techs and had em even install things ....paid of course....costing lots!....I imagine this sort of update plan and pay for to go on for some time with MS and others....SO ....

Is it really the gear?
The users of , and finding bugs or not working right as should...and oddities of missing this or that, and hangs....truly a system of bad drivers, bad installs...of which the installer does do....or putting things over written too much...to many times over a period, that causes services and hardware to fail in such a manner....That it is impossible to get anything done musically with PC MS and applications.......?

You be the Judge.

MS said it in the chat box....It is impossible to fix it so no updates are not needed.

That in essence is a constant fixing...to be paid to....fix what the updates do do ...if it was working...then not after...or it was kind of working then not....or if it was working with work arounds...and now those no longer work because of Updates.....and so on.....And you have projects that do not open right...or do not play back...because something altared the setup of device or management of device and driver or codex has changed to allow for direct x 12...and you now have issues with audio or applications for in and on MS os....They cannot fix the system...as it is designed to fail to gain money.

That being said....I must now reinstall...sorry...install 1607 from dvd, as it will not migrate by MS Tech doing it...when it should do it.

THis has boggled them...to tell me to take my machine....And we got two down!
X99....
To a MS store and have them fix it.

Freak me out.

This is nuts!

Now how can anyone code for this crap?

Best of the day to you all....

cheers.

I have no idea which problem you have, but like 10 years ago my decision was:
1) never Asus again
2) nothing from "LG" get into my computers.

Also in your signature you do not put the PSU specification nor 970 GTX producer. These 2 components can drive your computer and you crazy...
2017/01/19 10:33:06
Sir Les
Well let us say EVGA g2 850 watt...you see LG in the discription on mine?...Asus..is good enough...?
Strix gpu nvidia 970...good enough or over speced to make it work?...on MS with CKWK or other Products of mention not...but have many DAWs...and apps for Music to do what some cannot do...and they were working until...updates of automatic nature forced to shut down...to install noted did do...to this..and I had MS fix some of that, because they did not install as supposed to...which brought all this to a good stop and hack and track and read, and look into, and ask and get mocked and la la la la...same old same old...pay techs to not fix it....because I cannot as I am not skilled to do code or regedits, or other things....Surely not plug and play...for some...Sorry of my skill sets...of misinformation...if so, ...

But that should clear me of wrong doings here as Pilot error is not me this time round...it is them!

Wink!.

Sir Les
Let me add the APC power conditioning backup PSU of battery backup is UPS or cyberlink 15000...for that bad day of power spikes...solved for also....so when it is solved?.
You have suggestions....I will listen...but it will make no difference if all this is thorted soon after installing it...paid of offered is up to whom?

That is the cash cow marketing....You bought the wrong things..to do what you are doing?...well I guess you got piles of cards and motherboards on a burn out table like me then....Who is the sucker there?...and wouldn't you be unfortunate if so building such a table to know what is good or not?...and the cost?...and the efforts put to find reason for....

If LG is Logitech...let me know...as LG is a brand of....Electronic...Let us not mislead with short letterings....I might take that as LG.

But if and I say If, a mouse of my liking is causing all this...and I believe it is using Windows mouse drivers, as I have not put in the application for....I will gladly change it, and have done so in past to a generic Mouse....of MS low quality peace of crap...Just to prove it was not my mouse doing it...and MIke Knows it is a os system problem....of Cake walk tech support...not mouse at all...Nic card or onboard Gigabit...and other things of services trying to send out info...but the nic is not being detected in MS os...so error after error is being logged...when trying to...which is upsetting the cpu and memory and caching ...sizes...sending warnings into event viewer....that makes hickups in cpu irq requests....

Be mindful....I got that part pure right!

Les I don't mean to be disrespectful but can't tell if you are looking for help (in which case ask a more concise question - please).
As for Windows 10, 1607 is the "Anniversary Update", and there have been several patches to it that have both broken and 'fixed' it. However the current and last few builds have been working well here with SPlat. More with W10 than any previous version, the need to stay current on updates is critical, IMO.

Sir Les
Now back to what is causing this....it has to my knowledge goes way back to win 95 and some application put into the os to trace or track or back door put into the OS, to gain access to the system being put onto to run.

Spooling is also a irq requesting feature....to gain any info from said installed on system of text, typing, or data being stored on or in same system...and perhaps now with tech being constantly updated to worm into networks and infect or gain access to those same back doors...to do what ever is being done...if...not able to send out...how big does the hidden folder get?.....

That is what is happening Here.

Not able to remove or fix....because the nic willnot  allow it to do it....?....hmmm.

that is what they have been trying to fix here.

So, they said...it is not able to be fixed in this installation of win 10 15xx build..and I said that tech tried without me saying it was ok...to migrate to 1607...she ran the installer....I thought she was going to use the tools there in....but not able to install as a code error popped up...

Did that tech save any of the doings to my desktop as asked before doing anything?...nope!....again I said it many times in our chat...before the final reboot of the system and she or he ended our remote view...with two options.....

take it to the MS store...or wipe out and reinstall the new 1607 from dvd.

This has been said before in win 7 by tech tier 2 support person...to win 8.1...then 10 first rendering...until they have no more updates for...so I have to move to the next one....how many moves?...and pay...and pray?

I am asking You Aslow3 to answer with something better.

Sir Les
Thanks buddy Brando for a go ahead on 1607...I fear my effort to install all this stuff is going to take me lots of time again.

You understand...if it is not working right...I do not back up bugs...so no back up...Thank God for , I do not make this my working paid employment fort music making.

If you seek why my post is not seeking a solution....is because there are none at this time for my build....

and how many are thinking to go to this mayhem?....and as I know you are a good soul as is Aslow3 and others....

This is a MS thing...I just wanted you all to know...gear is not the issue....OS is.

And how can Cakewalk or any other app baker bake in this patch...and pay to fix constant.

I truly hope you are right in what you say...because I am freaking fed up!

Again to those who are using this sort to make your bread and butter....be mindful...I only am saying from my experiences so far...not good...and some here seeking help for.

Is all I wish to convey to some seeking bliss with.

I am unclear as to what your specific problem is, Les. Are we talking about the issue of certain plugins crashing SONAR when you insert them? That's the only recent Windows-related issue I can think of. If so, that problem has been resolved. At least, no one's reported that it still happens under the current build.

It sounds, though, like you may have other ongoing problems. The more specific you can be, the better. Rants are OK, we all need to unload from time to time. But the best you're going to get from a rant is a little sympathy - not much actual help.
