Well as Klaus wrote helpfully:
To switch between Track View and Console View, put the CV in MultiDock and bind Show /Hide MultiDock to Ctrl+=

The only thing is that other windows, like loop construction and the piano roll, also show up in the multidock. Just close them and leave the console.

I loaded it and pressed familiar shortcuts like Ctrl+E to split a clip and nothing. .....
 

Do you prefer pressing Ctrl+E than simply "S" to split a clip?
