Not sure this will meet everyone's needs for a DAW. And I'm pretty inexperienced with Harrison MixBus so I can't speak in depth of the software. But I saw this on FaceBook the other day and it seemed like a pretty good deal as far as I could tell and so I purchased it.
Hope this link works. I just copied the url but it takes you to facebook so those not logged in my not be able to view the link? Not sure...
https://www.facebook.com/...s/10159754175820153?ft Anyways, wanted to pass on the info. My first impressions is if nothing else, this is good mastering software. I exported a Logic project tracks as AIFF files including all the processing such as effects etc. So immediately my mix sounded just like the logic project. Then I just mixed in MixBus like I was mastering fixing EQ, adding compression etc. I liked the results. I'm currently trying a larger project of a live recording I've been unhappy with my results in logic. Interested in seeing what I can do in Harrison MixBus.
Anyways, it sucks Cake is going away. I had a love/hate relationship with them and switched long ago. But they were my first DAW and I've participated in this community for quite a while so I thought I'd share the link.
