No, SONAR has its own 32 bit VST wrapper called BitBridge. It automatically connects 32 bit plugs when they are called.

Imo no need to use J bridge anymore.
The bit bridge of Sonar works flawless
for years (Sonar Splat)in my box.

In most cases you are correct but If you want to use some 32 bit VSTs you may run into issues using Bitbridge, sometimes JBridge will solve them.

Best policy is to use 64 bit when ever possible. Don't buy 32 bit only plugs in this day and age.

If its imperative to use 32 bit that does not cooperate with Bitbridge that would be the time to consider JBridge.

I think the point was that you can test a plugin using JBridge in demo mode (which is free) to see if it will work with JBridge in the event that it does not work with BitBridge.

I solved my post with jBridge, once Bitbridge was playing clicks and pops with 32-bit VST instruments.
