I love the "Take Lanes" feature..especially for audio. However, when I'm recording a midi piano part, they can get a little out of hand. It would be really helpful to be able to globally remove any empty lanes. I find it difficult to edit my midi takes if there are a million empty lanes that I have to close individually. 

Right-click on the parent track's clip display and there's a Remove Empty Lanes option.   I use this one often.
