I need new power for my Yamaha NMS 10's. The 1975 Yamaha P2100 has become the source of weird noises in my system. Remove the amp and weird noises go away. So I just saw a product release for this in Pro Sound Magazine. Drawmer seems like a brand you can sink your teeth into.  Anybody round here have any insight into good passive power amps. I found a few but they are $$$$$.
This is in my budget at under $500. Not many retailers state side or Canada carry the drawmer  line.

Repair the ground in your current power amp, that should fix your noise problem.

It's not grounding , looked into that. It's just got a million hours on it. It was the PA amp for my friends system for 20 years or more. It was asked to do things like drive 6 very inefficient 8 ohm speaker cabs and amazingly never blew up. In those day's people believed if you were not loud enough , you just kept adding speakers. A power amp was not important.

For now I just found a real good solution. This weekend visit to the Goodwill scored a 1989, made in Japan,  Kenwood KA 86 integrated amp. Excellent shape and working now with no noises in my system. $ 24.99.  problem solved.

I think next move will to be add a set of powered monitors in parallel to the NMS10's.

Bonus about the Kenwood is it has the ability to run 4 speakers with the A_B system. I will set up my Paradigm's

Sounds like you got a great deal, I do know about the old and worn out part and thats some of my gear too lol. I always did like using a 4 monitors (mininum) 1 set powered and found that using the same Brands made for an interesting mix check.

BTW nice music.
