Cakewalk is no longer on a monthly release schedule. That's a good thing. It means the developers are in control, not some panel of marketing weanies. That said, there will definitely be a September release. When it's ready.

Yes, there will be one coming this week - we were hoping to include a specific feature but it wasn't quite ready yet so removing it caused a little delay :-)

I'm very happy with the current model; updates are released when they are ready to be released - not when the marketing team orders. Sometimes fixes or new features take more time to polish / test.

Quality > Quantity.
