I found a very basic Magix delay plug on my PC that is essentially just a dialog box with three sliders (dry out, delay out, and delay time).  More basic than the Sonitus FX.  I think maybe it came bundled with Vegas or Magix Music Maker or some such, but have never really used it.
 
It's called Simple Delay, from the XFX-1 Plug-In Pack, v1.1 (Copyright 2017 Magix Software GmbH).

I've read good things about the whole list of freebies there. They are gui simple but supposedly work well, are simple, and are fair on cpu.
