So its that time again to reinstalling system 1.

Anyone know if I will be able to rollback on a fresh system? I was doing some testing and it looks like I can only install Plat 2016 12. But after in stall would I get roll back option back? I was still using 2016 9 and want to stay with it until there is a new version that works for me.

Thanks!

All versions of SONAR that were released during an active membership/subscription will be available for download in your account. You just need to expand the main SONAR downloads area to access them.

I do not use CCC so I don't know how it works there.

You need to download all versions you wish to "rollback" to... obviously.

Before doing the system wipe, what I would do is make a copy of the folder that CCC is pointing to that contains your Program installation files (maybe on to an external drive).

Then after the system wipe, installation of windows, it's updates and your hardware drivers, copy the above folder from the external drive to a folder on your new installation.  Then after installing CCC, change the download path setting to match the folder location where your Program installation files reside.

Then you can do the installation via CCC.  As the Program installation files are already present on your system (and CCC knows their location), the installation will not include the download time.  Of course, The initial install will be of 2016.12 (or 2017.1 if you wait a bit). However, the option to roll back will remain completely intact.

Hi. I use a folder on an external HD as download folder for CCC. I have been doing this since it came out. I can whenever I want to rollback to an earlier release, without having to download anything for an eventual system wipe.
Whatever you are missing from updating / doing a rollback, CCC will be downloaded if not available on HD, and available in your account.
All the best.

You can always rollback. Even if the file isn't cached on your computer, CCC will download it.
