I am uncertain what's going on with load presets in a VST instrument plugin. The plug in question is Voyager 1.1 by Arguru. It's a bit old, but it works. I try to load a bank using the 32 bit wrapper, but nothing happens after I select the bank file.

Any help?

Thanks.
Clay

Hi Clay:
Just a shot in the dark, but are you sure you've got your softsynth looking to the folder where the presets are?

Is something that just started?  Have you updated anything?

I use the little "File" flyout menu in the plugin wrapper to choose Load Bank, then navigate to where the bank files are located. I pick one, click OK, and nothing gets loaded.

What is this wrapper??? Why do I see this sometimes rather than the interface with the automation read/write buttons, etc.?

And why is the Upload Image broken on this forum?

That is a 32bit VST plug-in running in BitBridge. Hold down the ALT key while opening the plug-in UI to open both the standard header and the plug-in UI. The standard header will open in a separate window usually behind the plug-in UI.

Wow. Thanks very much. I am able to load the presets using that pop up header. It seems odd that that header wouldn't be there without having to do the Alt thing.

Thanks.

Hi Scook. I wonder if you might know how to make use of jBridge in Sonar Platinum. All I can find about it refers to older versions which had a jBridge option in the Insert Soft Synth dialog. My platinum has none of that.

Thanks.

Nevermind. Found it in the plugin manager.

Just get jbridge, and install it. Then you don't have to mess around to get your presets working etc ;-)
