Happymat,  do you get any audio signal in the meters (top right)?  I know I was fooling around editing and killed the sound on one preset, but that doesn't seem to be your problem.  But try a different preset.

Lastly, this is a user forum.  If the problem continues, you should try Support, where Cakewalk techs can help.

There is no sound for all presets and i am sorry but there is no support for the ios app.
However my problem isn't just for me...See the links above.

On the other forum there is a crazy explanation :
"apparently it works in airplane mode and changing date back to 2014."

Thanks for your help.

Z3TA+ has stopped producing sound on iOS for anyone as of the New Year. I have tested on 5 different iPads. Others are reporting the same. An urgent fix is needed from Cakewalk.

On the support page, (where iOS isn't mentioned), I went through the process, but there's a gotcha at the first screen. It says you need to check a check box to continue.

The check box text says: "I understand that filling out this form will not put me in contact with technical support"

Huh?

Anyhow - I did it anyway. Suggest folks try that too. Please - someone from Cakewalk needs to respond to this. Completely killed a great product.

I think there are going to be a few new users on this forum in the next few days. Z3TA+ stopped working for me too; worked fine a few days ago. No output, and not showing any MIDI input sources any more either.

Please fix ASAP. This was one of the more expensive iOS apps to buy and, beyond that, one of my most used.

Hm, just checked and yea, it seems to have gone dead.  I'll email someone at Cake about this and notify them about this thread.

I'll let you know if they don't respond.  They might be out of office until Monday - I know I am.

Hello,
We just became aware of this issue.
There is a workaround, for the time being:
  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to: General, Date & Time
  3. Turn off Set Automatically
  4. Turn back the clock to Dec 31st 2014, or anytime before that.
  5. Open Z3TA+
We are looking into this and will have a fix as soon as possible. This bug seems to only be affected by the time change. Tested this workaround on several iPads, iOS 7 & 8, and it will work as long as the date is not past Dec 31st 2014.
Apologies for any inconvenience!
Stay tuned for a fix!
