As it is I always use the following , for a long long time now and it's always exactly what I wanted.
First , yes, all must go to the master buss.
Mute the master buss to proof. Everything should be silent including effects.

"Select none"  this seems to work 100% of the times. I found "select all"  iffy with soft synths.

I use the default Sonar export. I've never had to change it, ever,   other than I change 32 bit to 16 if I'm going to burn a CD. I don't even know what the default setting is! Must be entire mix?

Gentle Ones, thanks again and I've discovered another anomaly: With all FX disabled the bounce creates an over-driven, clipped audio file.  See the link below showing my settings.  I checked the settings for the QuadCapture interface.  Seem proper.  And I have the latest Sonar version.

The link below shows my settings when I came up with the problem  of not hearing any FX when bouncing:

Your help is needed and you are appreciated.  Thank you!

Your VINYL bus is both Outputting and Sending to Master. The summing of these tow idential signals will give you a 6dB boost in level right off the bat. And the EQ on the Master is also adding level.

Well, the big mistake I made in all of this was to route each of my individual music tracks to the Master bus which, of course, maxxed the system out and caused clipping in the bounce.
Thank you all for your patient help and tutoring.  Even veterans like I can still screw up and cause themselves unnecessary headaches.
