I used my wife's PC (Windows 7 ) to download & install Command Center. It failed to install. Had to used Task Manager to stop the 4 instances of Command Center that were running. Logged off & then logged on as administrator and was able to complete the install.
RANT ON: This Command Center software is terrible! When I ran it under my wife's ID, Windows asked me for the Admin password which I gave it. Still the install failed to complete. Clearly there is an issue with user rights. Once I logged in as the administrator the install went OK. Why wasn't there a notice that you need to be logged in as an administrator to install Command Center? Nothing on this page:
http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Try-SONAR#start I am not impressed with the development team. RANT OFF.
I downloaded Sonar Artist Demo.
Once Sonar Artist demo was installed & running I uninstalled Command Center.
After looking at Sonar Artist I decided to uninstall it. I can't find a way to uninstall Sonar Artist. Why isn't Sonar Artist demo listed when you use the Control Panel Add & Remove Programs? Or at least a Cakewalk uninstall program?
How do I get Sonar Artist off my wife's computer? This is so 1998.
