  • How do i delete entire piano roll note for entire song

Yeah, i selected entire section with select tool, pressed delete, it did not much, and eraser just deletes individual notes, i dont have much patience...please help......Like uno, i dont want the b note for the entire song, how do i select and delete it?

Click the corresponding note in the keyboard at the left to select every note of that pitch in the track.

Great thanks, also is there a way to extened the length of every note , as in turn all the short D's into longer D's for entire song

Why hold SHIFT ?
 
All you have to do is select all notes that need to be lengthened, then drag one of the notes and the rest will move at the same time. correct ?

i thought they would all just lengthen relative to eachother without shift, and not end up all the same length as i thought he asked ? which is what happens . . . that is why
 
or to put it another way, if you don't use the shift key all you will be doing is lengthening or shortening all the selected notes, still ending up with notes of different length. but if you hold the shift key all the selected notes will end up the same length, which, if you care to read, is what he was actually asking. . . that is why

im mucking around with copying drum track to bass track and so the kick is backed up with a bass note perfectly in sync.......sounds phat
