I' far from mastering.......really anything...But thank you David.  Tried symphonic before but i would have to study the
orchestration a little bit better... Maybe some Hans Zimmer stuff would be cool...not sure about jazz , that's too complex for me .

another annoyingly happy tune....

Big fan of "Happy Music" here

Nicely done... Great dynamics and a lovely tune to boot... Strange taste in music? Guilty as charged

ChrisX, thanks for the detailed info! A couple questions about side chaining, if you don't mind: What do you mean by a "ghost" track? I'm imagining a copy of the kick drum track that is muted and sent to the compressor. So then why not just send the original kick drum track; why send a "ghosted" version? Also, what compressor do you use to side chain the bass? Can't remember if the CA2A (my go-to) has a side chain input.

mrpippy2...you can use any compressor that accepts side chaining. Sonitus is fine. When I'm in Reaper i also use the inbuilt compressor. They are all good for the task. In fact i only use the compressor, EQ, gate and other basic plugins that comes with my DAW and at least I can be sure that the routing will work.
Ghost track is a copy that is only used as a side chain signal to other tracks and no audio output.
Ghost track because sometimes you what the "pumping" going on even when there is no drum kick playing.
If you want to learn more i suggest you to watch some youtube tutorials. Doesn't have to be DAW specific as these techniques are very similar in every music program...

String Jammer
It’s outside of my wheel house but I liked it. Is this known as “trance” music?

Films don't interest me, but Hanz Zimmer is a good goal.  Have you seen this?  BTW the reason I'm saying this is because your tunes are so lyrical (therefore you might translate to other genres).

- String Jammer ...nooo this is not trance ...but is funny because that's what I'm aiming for :). Trance has multiple sub genres but the one i like is more melodic and vocal trance. Similar to this track from Above and Beyond :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBeMQ2V3yuk
As for my songs, in the industry is called  "ASP" .............................. Amateur Synth Pop ...but really I'm not listening at all to pop music and I can't explain it why they "pop" at the end. I have to work on that...
- eph221 ... that looks like a nice class and for 90 bucks, to learn from the Maestro, is worth the money...  But I'm also not much interested in film score. You really have to be talented  to be noticed and to get the opportunity to work with film producers because otherwise is a waste of time from my point of view.  I like to do what I'm doing now where it's all on me and I can share it fast with people...it's just a creative hobby for me, nothing more.

Thanks ChrisX, I now understand the possible need for a ghost track more clearly. I think I will seek out a few videos on sidechaining kick drum and bass, as I really like the sound you got on this track.
