One thing for sure with software is you need to subscribe to forums and company newsletters to get the deals.
I got to the top of the heap here with Sonar 100% though e mail offers and reading the forum. I think this has netted me at least $300 in savings.
And then the other day at work I get an offer fom MIcrosoft for Office 2016 for $13 via a company bulk purchase. They did it a few years ago with 2013. It's the complete suite too.
And just last week the Air- Xpand!!2 pack. It's more than D pro gives you and it was free for anyone who joined the DJWORX forum. I hope lots of folks here caught that one.

This wonderful drum VST came to me as a result of a thread here about Home Studio.
And the week before
that I got W10 for free from MS because I read something on their forum about how to go about it. So remember that deadline and the panic to get on board? MS is still offering a back door and keeping it quiet. But it's on their forum and they are more than happy to make it work.
Now If I could only find Dream weaver for $40 my year will be complete. I'm still using MS front Page 2003 :(
