I have just been looking around my Command Center Downloads and notice a heaps of files that look redundant. As my SSD is getting a little low on storage I would like to know if I can delete some of these files and just keep the latest version of each. For instance, I have 14 Sonar Platinum Setup files dating back to January 2015 and they are all about 400 - 500mb then 19 Sonar Platinum UP setup files - same thing - all really large. There is also 2 help and tutorial files 1.3Gb each and 15 SonarHelp Documentation files all over .5Gb
Any advice GREATLY appreciated!

You can delete them all if you want and download from your online Cakewalk account if you need them in future.

You can also set command centre to download them to a different drive if you do want to keep them yourself.

The only real disadvantage to not keeping the Sonar ones is if you decide to roll back to an earlier version. You will have to download those files again.

What I just did last week was copy the whole folder to an external drive. Then I deleted all duplicates that had older dates or version numbers. Got rid of about 15 gigs of stuff.

Fantastic! Thanks for your help guys - now I can start the new year with a happy SSD :-) By the way - I had a massive 56 gb in that folder!

It is a good idea to set CC download to an external hard disk with todays ssd`s (Cakewalk should write this somewhere on their help files) and it`s true within a year you could easyly have 50G of unwanted data, that is because cakewalk  are the best  in upgrading and updating their software.

Peace
