If EZDrummer does allow you to drag a beat from the track into it. There's no reason why you can't just drag from AD2 to EZD, as when you drag it out of AD2, it's just Midi data.

MIDI beats are embedded into AD2. If you need separate MIDI files, you can download from your XLN account, by adding '/offline' to the url:
https://www.xlnaudio.com/myaccount-myproducts/offline
then scroll to the bottom of the page.


If you wants the midi files with minimal effort this ^^^^ is how to get them. Log in to your account and click the link above.

Correct... I just wanted to know if it was possible to use the default AD2 midi files that came with Sonar Plat when I first installed it, not the separate files that I purchased later... I probably mispoke during my initial post.  Thanks!

This seems to be the best way to access the default AD2 core library beats!   Thanks again Kam and others...
