Sorry for the redundancy for those who may have seen this issue on one of the Facebook sites...
Since the latest CbB update, my Waves plugins won't work. They show up on the plugin insert list in the fx bin. They show up in the Plugin Manager and in the plugin section of the browser. I contacted Waves and they looked at my file structure via TeamViewer and claim everything is in order, and that there must be a problem in Cakewalk.
Any kind of helpful hints sure would be appreciated.

Additionally, I've been trying to find contact info for Cakewalk, but no luck.

I use many waves plugins daily and I have no trouble using them with CbB…..maybe you should try a re-installation, I suggest trying an offline installer through waves central.

Thanks, BZ. That's my next move, for sure.

If you haven't tried it already - within CbB under Preferences / VST Settings to a Reset then rescan.

Waves plugs have never stopped working for me, unless I've done something stupid.

BTW if you have your Waves plugs authorized to a external device (USB, ext HDD,etc.) and that device is not connected when you run a VST Scan in CbB or Sonar ALL you Waves plugins will be disabled until the next time you scan and that device is connected.

I own them all and they work for me. When they haven’t worked it’s usually due to not following the update instructions properly.

C\Users\your account\appdata\Roaming\Waves Audio delete the whole Waves Audio Folder and reinstall Waves.

Guaranteed to fix all Waves errors. Mostly.

WoodenMusic,

Is there a particular plugin that isn't working any longer in CBB, or have all of your Waves plugins stopped?
I performed the last update for CBB and my Waves plugins still work.

I have had to delete them all before after an update and then re-install and re-activate (manage licenses.) What happened (I actually did it twice) is, I bought a new plug and then clicked UPDATE ALL. This then sent my licenses to another location and Sonar couldn't locate them. It kept looking for the older version and it wasn't there. IN that situation, I found it easier to just start all over. A little bit of a hassle, but I feel better than having .dll scattered in various locations.
