Hey guys,

This is bugging me for some time now, I have a slow internet connection that randomly disconnects. It seems like Command Center don't know how to continue from an interrupted download because every time it tries to install the update it causes the install to fail because it was corrupted. My Sonar Professional now randomly crash ever since, is there an offline installer that I can download manually to do the update?

Thanks,

Yes try using Offline authorization.
Go to your Cakewalk account page and download it there, then use off line Auth.

One more question, I'm currently at 2016.10, do I need to download 2016.11 install it then download the 2016.12 and do the lates install?

Thanks,

I think not! latest update contains all the others.

Alright! thanks guys!, you'd just saved a Sonar user from moving to another DAW. I don't mind missing features, but if the software can't do basic functions like updating that's a bigger deal for me since it can't be solved by another plugin.

I used to have a bad connection so what I did was take my laptop to where there was good internet and download there.
I used to do the offline updating but it's a bit clunky.
What you can do is simpley have CCC installed on the laptop, go updtae everything, then transfer all the downloads found in the command certer download folder over to your main DAW's same folder.
Run CCC on the mian DAW and it will use all those files to update without re downloading.
The Command center folder is found
Computer/ Program Data/Cakewalk/Command Center/Downloads

I have a less than ideal connection at home as well, and I don't hook up my studio computer to the internet anyway.

However, what other DAW do you think puts out the updates like Sonar does?  Pretty much none of them.
