I think there is enough people who have requested this over the years cakewalk should had just have added it on, it does seen to wind people up they have to pay extra

This topic has been come up a lot over the years. The explanation was that MP3 licences for commercial distribution are not free. If it is integrated into the program,  the licence fee must to be added to the cost of each new release,  so in essence you would pay for it many times over.  The way it is now,  you only pay once,  or you get it for free if you are willing to spend a little time configuring it yourself.

I am also using Aaron and it is fine. Do you now by any chance how to customize it cause it gives me way too many bit rate options to browse than I normally use?

Just realised who the OP was. Do they get paid by PT or something? Surely you wouldn't just do this for kicks?

I owned a music gear shop once, and was stunned at the level competitors would go to, to discredit my business. Funny thing was, it actually backfired on them in general.  But this? To what gain?

Time for another cull moderators....

I have no idea how to customize but I would surely keep all those rates because I never know when someone is going to stipulate the very rate that I got rid of. Stranger things have happened! LOL!

They'd have to pay extra anyway, but they just wouldn't know it, because the price would be included in the package. It would  also be an easy way for Cake to charge 20-30$ for a 10$ license of a product which could be dl:d for free elsewhere.
