I had issues like mentioned. Also everytime I bypass neutron SONAR makes a gap in the audio. Sadly iZopoe doesn't notes SONAR as one of the tested DAWs. I tried it with Reaper (which is one of the tested DAWs) and the problem doesn't happens and works flawlessly. Also I couldn't made sidechaining with this plugin in Sonar.

To me looks like iZotope needs to work a little more in this plugin in order to make it more compatible with Sonar as it looks like it is not fully compatible with it. I don't think there is much we or Cakewalk could do in order to improve this, but wait until iZotope fix the compatibility.

I think you are referring to the neutrino free plug in

Ah yes, my mistake.  Still, a joke opportunity is a joke opportunity :)

I don't know who or why this was marked as solved.  I went home at lunch today and tried the solution suggested above.  Yes, the pegged meter does not happen now, however, there are still major issues remaining.  It seems to work OK with just a couple of instances.  Once I get above 3 instances I start to hear more and more pops.  In addition, as I add instances, features of Neutron start to fail.  I had an instance on three different guitar tracks and when I added an instance to a piano track Track Assistant no longer works...it never comes out of analyze mode and the pops increase. If I remove a few instances it settles down.  Only 3 instances before issues occur is terrible.  I certainly do not consider this solved by any means.
As is, Neutron is not usable for me.

I marked it "solved" because post #4 said "solved." With a new plug-in like this, it's good to call attention to a solution as soon as possible so those searching on something like SONAR Neutron solved can find an answer. Too bad it's not really solved after all; sometimes it takes companies a couple revs to get compatibility issues sorted out.

Well, also I think it should be marked as solved because the problem has nothing to do with Cakewalk. Neutron is a product of other company who has no official compatibility with Sonar so issues are expected.

As Anderton said, I think we will have to wait until iZotope continue Neutron development adding more host compatibility. To me that sound like the solution of the issue... or maybe sort of.

Thanks for the response.

I don't mean this in any negative way but post #4 was not my post.  Shouldn't the person starting the thread be the one to mark it solved?

Sorry, I don't agree.  If there is a problem it makes no difference who created the product...the problem still exists and is still not solved.  It may well be that it's not a Cakewalk problem, I suspect that is the case here, however, someone here may have a real solution that works in the SONAR environment.

Further, marking it as solved may lead folks to believe that the problem really is solved and they may go ahead and pay money for the product only to find it really doesn't work well in the SONAR environment.  It would be misleading.

Have you tried contacting Izotope and letting them know ?
you have support through your other plug ins, im sure they would get right back to you and would be helpful to know what they said (you could post it here) because im on the fence about buying this plug in.
thanks

EDIT: Sorry didn't see your first post was edited

I forgot to mention that I bought Neutron via Sweetwater...great guys!  Anyway, I let them know about the issue and THEY have ALSO reported the issue to iZotope.  I was told by a Sweetwater tech that iZotope usually gets back to them pretty quickly regarding bug issues.  Hopefully, they'll have a solution/answer pretty soon that I can share here.
