Which version of Sonar?

I think in the installation dialog (after you have started the installation in command center) there is a query on 32 bit or 64 bit.  If you select 32 bit it will update the x86 version.

Enable the Verbose option in Command Center settings.  This will give you the prompts for options during install

I'm using platinum lifetime updates,.
I installed it last year, march, and it did offer a switch back then,
but now I do not see any switch to change to x86, 32 bit,.
I have x86 installed and 64 bit installed,.
only the 64 bit version has been updated since I started doing updates.
some of my plugins wont work using 64 bit and I have been using 32 bit version with out the updates
the 32 bit version has troubles as it is older from march last year and has never been updated.
no troubles using the updated 64 bit version very good.
I've been using SONAR for about 9 or 10 years now.,
don't care much for the new style online installer.
However, I'm sure money and income of money motivating the change, seeing how as everybody is honorable. almost everybody that has received the boxed version in way far away places.
saved me some good money on lifetime updates which I paid for a few months ago., hardly paid for, many millions or dollars in r + d invested, as well as school and many lifetimes,.
could be billions if you go back to the sources years ago and convert to todays dollar value.
I really like the sound of it,. good mixing with prochannel
and the eq with the frequency analyzer displayed in the background, only it doesn't go low enuf in dB,
like to see neg 145dB, to see very low levels. very very nice as it is now good for everything except checking out the bottom end, old analyst can handle that with far less resolution.
so I don't see any way of changing to verbose on command center. and hitting f1 doesn't bring up help.

Goto the gear in the upper right hand corner of command center.  It is the settings button.  There will be a checkbox to select verbose installation.  Make sure it is checked.

I tried hitting install after turning on verbose under settings of command center,
I did not see any option to select x86 and command center seemed to be running thru a 4 hour install of 64 bit version again , l just updated last nite and it took at least 4 hours to complete,. I have a fast connection, tethering cable running at a couple of hundred kilo bits per second,. fast considering it is a radio teletype and telephone circuit. Just now was going as fast as I have ever seen,.very unusual too,.
100,000 bytes per second to 150,000 bytes per second.
so rather then wait another 4 hours to see what happens I exited and I'm now going to try reboot and see if that helps
thanks for your input friends,.
I haven't given up (yet

I have found that after installing Sonar x64 via the Command Centre, the option to install Sonar x32 disappears. The only way to install x32 after x64 is to use the offline installation.

The question comes up after the download during the installation dialog.  It is right after the EULA agreement dialog, I believe.

I never get to the install dialog,.im trying to update an install that was done back in march,.i did get a 32 bit and 64 bit choice when I went to the folder that is specified under verbose settings., C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads,.,.,when I went there I found a file named SONAR ehkp documentation exe,. when I clicked that , I was shown a dialog with a choise of 64 bit or 32 bit. I selected 32 bit and then tried update again,. that was at 630pm yesterday,. last nite,. the machine is still updating now,. slow snail speed ,. this circuit  slows down once a certain number of bytes has passed thru the byte counter. supposed to be unlimited plan,.it was hauling yesterday but slowed down during the wee hours, now at a crawl like 66 words per minute or so,.averaging around 120 kiolo bits persecond,. meanwhile I'm hung up. cant use the machine while on line like that have stuff unplugged.needs reboot. we'll see if that made a difference soon as it is finished,. if ever,. it has been 14hours running now.
thanks again for your input.
