Perhaps its maybe something I am doing not sure but if you have more than one plugin in the FX  bin its not obvious which is on or off except the current one selected which  is light blue. The only way I can see what active is CTRl Open  all. How do other handle this?

your theme or colors settings are causing this. It should be  (blue/on  grey/off)

I've had to edit some of the themes fx buttons in theme editor to make it more obvious.

Jeff M.
In the Theme Editor, I changed "FX Name" to a bright green and "Bypassed FX Name" to a bright red.
Green text: FX is on
Red text:     FX is off.
Clicking the "Bypass Rack" button does just that, but it keeps the "color state: on/off" of what the FXs are/were when the rack is/was bypassed.

Also, on the bypassed FX, I changed the mouse-over of the "Bypass fxname" button and the "Show Rack Menu" down arrow (left and right side of the name) to bright red as well.

So normally, the FX "bars" are the same background color with the on/off text color differences, but as I mouse over, the active FX's background color doesn't change, but the bypassed FX have red on both sides of the name.
Redundant, actually, but it does stand out easier.
