Hello is it possible, except with the envelope generator, in the step generator to create a slide effect from one note to the next?
And which function in the envelope generator is very handy is the snap function. can you adjust it so that it locks on the different pitches too?

The only portamento settings I am aware of in Rapture are in the Element Oscillator Controls Sections. When Polyphony is set to zero, Porta Time creates pitch glide from 0 to 10 seconds. This is covered on page 25 of the Rapture User's Guide pdf. the default location of the documentation is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Documentation"
