What is stupid? Answering a five year old thread without explaining the problem ;o)
 
Shouldn't V-20 work also as a normal audio interface with any program? I've always thought all the V-series boxes do, but maybe I'm wrong. Have you tried?

The problem is fairly obvious on this thread (not able to register GT4).  Luckily I found the driver support I needed from Roland and am now searching for an alternative to GT4 since it appears to be dead.
