Seems strange to me the CW sound center instrument is not available as a stand-alone product.

If it could be purchased would that not be good for the sale of the libraries?

Or, at least include it with the libraries?

Just sayin'

Sound center is a greatest hits of different Cake synths.  It came w/ one of the earlier versions of SONAR for those that didn't buy the actual synths, I guess.  A teaser, of a sort.  If you want to expand the libraries, Cake wants you to buy the synths.

Ya.

But why not sell/give-away the player?

More buyers for the sample packs is good for business.

Some of the sounds for sale are not very good.

Not about the sounds. It is about marketing and sales.

Why is the sound center not available to anyone who wants it?

Free download results in CW getting another email address and potential customer and free promotion.

I don't disagree with the idea, but thhey do something lik ethat already.  If I'm not mistaken, I they give away dimension le with many of the soundpacks.
