Hi All, Has anyone had this problem at all? I have updated to the latest version of Sonar Platinum and I am still getting the red demo mode box appear so I have to restart Sonar to remove the box, anyone had this since the latest update please?
It started happening on the previous .03 update!

Yes....I upgraded a few days ago and I continue to get the demo mode red dialog window (but not all the time).  It's weird.  Haven't had time yet to see what might be on here in other threads, but just to let the OP know.....this is happening to me too.  Maybe one of the moderators can point us to some helpful information about this situation?  Please?................

Same issue, get warning red pop-up Demo.  How do you get rid of it?  I am concerned that it may become a problem later on any saved work created with the new update version.  Has anyone tried to uninstall then doing a re-install to see if it continues?

This appears to be the latest "WTF?!?" bug that afflicts some people but not others. CW is looking into it but kind of "flying blind." If you get any error codes or steps you remember doing before it turned into demo mode, I'm sure CW would appreciate it...especially because they thought they'd solved it in the 2016.04 update. It doesn't happen to me so I'm no use in troubleshooting it.

Thanks Craig, agreed.
Is this largely with Win 7?

For me it is Windows 7......guess I should put that in my signature.....  I'll try to catch any information I can that might be of use in finding the quirk.  Will let Cake know if I can determine any reproducible steps.

Windows 10, 64bit.

But so far that has happened only once. The system could be quite busy, video recording (webcam) and screen recording in parallel with Sonar. I also have Windows auto-update on, so something could be "blocked".

Hello all, I downloaded Sonar for the first time a few days ago, it was ok, then I changed PC and it has been in demo mode ever since. I removed it from the first PC, and its still in demo mode - its been driving me crazy. I hope someone can help.

Hi. Did you use Cakewalk Command Center (CCC) to install SONAR? Have you tried to logout and back in again to CCC? You should be able to have SONAR on more than one pc, as long as you only use one pc at the time.
Best of luck.

Yes cuitlahac it is not happening every time I open but it can be a bit of a pain if you have clients sitting behind you watching! Hope they will find a fix soon? apart from that little problem all is running stable for me but I am running the full version of Melodyne 2.2 Editor which seems very stable compared to the comments on the forum with concerns of Melodyne 4 crashing Sonar!
