I had a similar with Addictive Drums 2.
 
I mistakenly set my Windows 10 computer for compatibility mode for Windows 8 when trying to resolve some problems I was have with my DAW.  Well everything worked fine for a while after troubleshooting the DAW.  I then opened Addictive Drums2 which I hadn't used until a week later. after troubleshooting because  I was using BDF Eco, so I didn't have any problem with drums. 
 
When I  went to launch AD2 a week later, it told me that it couldn't recognize the computer to which it was installed.  I then remembered that one of the auto changes made a week ago was to place the computer in Windows 8 compatibility mode.  i then had to take the computer out of Compatibility mode for Windows but also I had to go to the AD2.exe file, then go to properties and uncheck compatibility mode there also.
 
That worked for me.

Has this issue been resolved? If so, what was the resolution?
 
I am not having this problem with Sonar, but I am having it with Rapture Pro, which constantly reverts to demo mode after re-authorization. I was working with Technical Support on the issue, but I have not heard back from them in the past week.

Typically I do not launch SPlat from within CCC. After upgrading, closing CCC and launching SPlat, I got the Demo warning and Demo mode. I closed, restarted Win, signed in to CCC and launched SPlat from within CCC. At that point I got the SPlat authorized message and it ran in full mode. I closed SPat and signed out of CCC and closed it. Finally, I launched SPlat by clicking Start-Programs-SPlat (As Admin) and it ran in full mode also.

I won't be able to try again until this evening. Hopefully I didn't catch the bug.

I launched SPlat from the Start menu and it ran in full mode.  It appears to be running normally.

Has this issue been resolved? If so, what was the resolution? I am having the same problem with Rapture Pro, and I don't want to load the latest Sonar update and begin having this demo mode issue with Sonar as well.

If I load the latest Sonar update, will I experience authorization issues?
 
I am already experiencing this issue with Rapture Pro since the last update for that application.
 
In the 30+ years that I have been using Cakewalk/Sonar (the first was the DOS MIDI sequencer), I have never had a problem starting and running the main application, and I don't want to start now.

I had the same thing several times prior to the latest monthly update. I had to close and reopen. After that all worked fine until the next time I started the workstation. Since last months update I have not had it appear again .  Since I said that it will most likely come back now :)

I consider is resolved at this point. It has not done it again now for a few weeks.
