I can redock my broswer and inspector, but I have found no way to redock my track view, nor my PRV.

I think I recall undocking it, but I can't seem to find the "dock" choice to revert to the factory stock layout.

I was adivsed to look down on the bottom multi dock bar to see tabs... but I have no tabs.

I've been a bit confused about it.

best regards,
mike

Yesterday, I somehow ended up with my whole Track View inside the Multidock, which filled the whole workspace between the Inspector and the Browser. No undock buttons. 'Collapse' didn't do anything. I fought with it for several minutes and still don't know what I did to undock it. But then, I'm a newbie and haven't figured out most of Sonar yet.

That sounds like you had an empty multidock docked at the top. It looks like it's eaten the track view, and collapse does nothing. Use alt-3, for example, to open a PRV in the multidock, then you can drag it elsewhere.

Cheers, Peter.

If you have a blank project template it does that. If you add one audio track, the screensets become active. You must have something in the multidock. If you undock whatever veiw is in the multidock, it no longer appears because you have floated it. If you take the browser and dock it in the multidock, it will become visible again. You can then put whatever veiw you floated back in the multidock.

OOPS- Thanks for your help!!

That was becuase my project doesn't contained any contents.... now it's working

Did you undock it? Restore Down both veiws if it's hidden behind say, the track veiw. Your docking menus should be active again at that point allowing you to redock the sequencer.

If you make a smaller veiw of each veiw ( not minimized ) it seems the options to dock-undock return and you can redock it.

"I" before "E" except after "C".

Can anyone explain this?  I have my track view open but in the bottom right of that view no way to undock it.  The Multidock is just a thin line at the bottom.  I have tried hitting D and nothing happens and Craig above said "Restore Down".  What do you mean exactly by this?  Someone help???  It was all good and then I just have track view locked in place forever!  Cheers in advnace.
