Morning!
 
I´m venturing into the world of orchestral composition and building a template of a considerable size at the moment.
For each of the orchestral sections (ie first violins), I use one track folder with one instance of EW PLAY and then an x amount of midi tracks routed to that synth for the different articulations.
 
I then save this track folder as a track template for future ease of use, but when I recall it, I get back all the tracks that I saved, but the synth track is changed into an audio track.
Any ideas why this is?
 
On another note, and not that important, when I open a project with track folders, the track color of the track folders doesn´t show. The colors show for all the tracks within that track folder, but not for the track folders themselves whilst they were saved with the project. I then have to change the color of any track, and then all the track folder colors show again. Looks like a bug...
 
Any help, especially with the first problem, would be greatly appreciated!!

I believe there was once a bug where track folder colors were not saved.
What version of Sonar are you using ? (that should always be mentioned first).
 
The other issue with EW, not really sure. I would try to change it and resave as a template again.

I´ve read there was a bug with this some time ago, but supposingly it should be working now. Not for me at the moment....


Regarding, the template, I´ve checked and actually with other synths like Omnisphere, it does work correctly.
So there must be something I´m doing wrong with the other libraries in PLAY and Kontakt.
I´ll try to resave and see if that works. Thanks
