Please consider increasing the contrast between enabled and disabled effects in the FX bin to make the difference more obvious. Here are some mockups of what that might look like from our good friend SteveStrummerUK:

Thanks!

Agree - it's certainly not bad at the moment, but could be clearer.

Yes, FX stacked looks washed out. Not super obvious to immediately recognize what's on and what's off.

I guess there are two version of this request. On the other one, I wrote that the FX Stack buttons should use the same lit/unlit buttons as the control bar. Unifying the Skylight experience.

Yes. Greater contrast would let you get the information at a glance instead of at a concentrated stare.

This was the first thing that I thought when I saw the new FX bin!

Change effects color: please git rid of this insane light gray on lighter gray.

I cannot read the disabled effects' labels.  WHY?????  Why should it not be WAY easy to quickly know what is what?

And then enabled effects' buttons are BLACK ON GREY?  Oh, how clever.

Way cool looking but not very effective nor efficient.

This is another example of having to compensate for the user interface's lack of clarity.

Make the disabled effects labels be BLACK on LIGHT GRAY. So they can be read easily.

The enabled effect's button background should default to light green. And be user definable.
