I guess there are two version of this request. On the other one, I wrote that the FX Stack buttons should use the same lit/unlit buttons as the control bar. Unifying the Skylight experience.

+0.8. The more I use the Platinum, the more obvious the difference becomes but it shouldn't be necessary to acclimate over time to the change.

+1.2 ... to compensate for Craig's missing 0.2 ;-)

Any of the proposed options in the screenshots would be very helpful ... the more obvious the difference, the less work your brain needs to do (and it has to do a lot already in long mixing sessions)

Further proposition: Bypassing VST3 plugins (using global plugin bypass in VST3 plug) should be recognizable by Sonar ... hence, it think these plugs should also be coloured like/similar to other bypassed plugins (i.e. like the ones turned off in the FX bin) ...

I have had occasions when I had double-clicked a plug and found the VST3 bypass engaged but could not remember that I actually clicked it  ... while this might just be pilot error from fatigue or an ugly occasional bug which I could never prove, simply showing the plug as disabled in the console view would have made that visible immediately

I find it almost impossible to determine when a plugin is enabled or disabled in the effects bin. I'm not the dumbest guy on the planet yet for the life of me I can't figure out what the logic is - when does it turn blue, when light blue, when grey and when light grey?

Please change the FX bin appearance in general so that it looks more professional and that it's obvious what state the plugin is in.

I'll agree with this. I've often had to toggle an effect just to make sure it was on. Generally the greyness of Sonar is terrible, Just load up 8.5 or Cubase and it very refreshing to see some colour.

Yeah, it's far too subtle a difference, visually. I like the neatness of hiding the on / off button unless you hover over it, but that means something else has to do the visual job of the on / off button, and that's the bit they missed.
