Need a brick!
Two pedals coming from Catalinbread. I was going to just order a Dirty Little Secret but they have a special with the purchase of a pedal you can get a Super Chili Picoso boost pedal for $39.99
The DLS emulates an early Marshall. Internal presence pot and internal switch to choose between the Super Bass and SLP voicing. NICE!

I may try to build my own board from wood, unless I can find a cheap used one. I like the Holeyboard but don't want to spend that much.
Thanks all..

I use a Boss PSA 120s which I think is 4 watts. It goes to the Boss tuner which has the extra out for power. You then buy these little jumper cables that you can see in the picture. The box is an old briefcase which I removed the hinges and replaced with suitcase latches so you can remove the lid. The Velcro is not working very well so I am going to try something else.

Try the black or white industrial grade velcro. The glue is much better than the ordinary stuff. I put four small pieces of the hook side on the pedals then use cheap carpet tiles to cover a board. The velcro sticks to the carpet very well indeed.

I use the industrial velcro, but also put a bit of Krazy Glue on it.  They're NEVER coming off!

Just a note on current draw:

I'm not sure where others are getting their numbers, but draw can range from a few mA for fuzz boxes up to a few hundred for digital multieffects pedals.

And analog pedals generally draw much less than digital ones to the extent that one digital chorus pedal can draw as much as a half dozen analog dirt pedals.

So, bottom line. Voltage at or above (or close, like in 9vs 9.6). Current add up all the requirements and make sure the PS puts out more (to be on the safe side). Right?

I like the briefcase! I have an old one in the other room with one broken latch. Now I know what to do with it!
Thanks!
Julien
