Hello,
I'm having trouble implementing the Waves Tune Lite plugin in a project that was created in Sonar X1 producer, and is now imported into Sonar X3 basic. It wont "Scan" my vocal track.
I've tried to... "INSERT--> ReWire Device", but both options are Grey'd Out/Disabled. (Melodyne Single Track & Waves Rewire).

If I create a new X3 project, the plugin works fine.
Also note that Waves Tune or Melodyne has never worked in X1, and I think I have been experimenting with these devices whilst in X1.
Perhaps there's something left over from the X1 project that needs to flushed out so as to function in X3. Does that make sense?

What are your recommendations?

Thanks
Adrian

Hey!...  I got it working.. but WTF!!!
As previously mentioned, if I create a new X3 project, it all works perfectly, yet I notice that a weird sort of hybrid Midi/Audio track is created, (see pic below).
I then exported this as a Track Template, and then imported it into my project that wouldn't function properly.
And with no additional steps, the Waves Tune plugin commenced scanning my vocal track and all is sweet.

So what is this "Waves ReWire" track, which has possibilities of selecting Midi properties, yet has has a reference to the Master Audio track as part of it's properties. Huh?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Thanks

Tbh I've never used the plugin in ReWire mode, what's the benefit? When I used it I just used it as a VST plugin on the audio track, same as I did with Melodyne before ARA. Seems very straightforward.

Yes... this is how it works for me as well on a new X3 project. But When I add the plugin, this odd hybrid track is automatically created.
