Browser Notes Tab: It’s important to keep notes on your projects. Now notes are integrated right into the Browser, and it’s so convenient songwriters will appreciate being able to jot down lyrical ideas quickly. You can even add custom artwork that will be displayed in the Start Screen.

The synth rack disappearance is indeed a retrograde as noted above.

How do I access it now and once I do do I have to make a new template to have it automatically show up like it did before ?

No idea why this change was made.

Just wanted to throw some love out to the e-zine. As a professional content creator (training materials) I appreciate the work that goes into it. If you download the updates and don't follow up by reading the e-zine, you're really missing out. Kudos guys.

I love many of the new tools and features Thank you!. Please please can we fix the Editing (drag drop/ delete whole ect..)  I would like to request a huge improvement to the automation. Its really clunky  (very slow) hard to use I think it needs to be simplified. I preferred when the lines of automation were all "on" the track not in a lane. Can we go back to that like 8.5  or have an option for both? Too many clicks back and forth. Lane don't open up full screen its really a cumbersome. Thanks :)

No more crashing when saving Thank you.

I hate to crash the party and have been a happy consumer since before Sonar was Sonar BUT....my first ever GUI complaint.

The synth rack change is a huge pain in the ass.  As a workaround I loaded up my template, engaged the synth rack and docked it to the right - cool it went into the same bar as the browser.  So far so good.

Hit the double left arrow to open the browser and synth rack.  So far so good again. They opened together.

Went to close them and....no double right arrow ?  Huh ?  Do I have to "collapse" both of them to regain my screen real estate ?

The new synth rack is cool - after reading the eZine and testing some stuff. I could not use the controls in TTS-1, while Z3ta is OK. I checked one third party synth (MPC), no controls, too.
Please describe a little bit more in detail, which requirements have to be fulfilled in order to use the rack controls...

The Notes Browser is Greatly appreciated. It is The update that knocked it out-of-the park for me.

Thanks to Cakewalk!  Great new update.  I really like the new browser notes tab.   I was always using the project information screen before  to ad setup information for my Motif XS8 and it was kind of a pia and kind of annoying.  I would bring up the PI screen and it would fill the whole 38 inch monitor and the information entered would be dwarfed by the size of the PI window and it couldn't be sized without resizing the track view window.  Never saw anyone here complain about it.  With the new browser notes tab its very nice to just enter info right there next to the track view.  Now, if it could just automatically transfer the artist, album, and song information to the Lame MP3 ID3 tag info for the audio export that would be even greater.
 
It's great to know the Matrix is getting some attention too.
