So I bought some Loop Loft drum loops.  I got a free sample package and inadvertantly selected AIFF format - but they load in fine.  The actual package I bought I made  sure were .wav and while Sonar atttempts to import (i.e. it builds the tracks) nothing is in the track  - no clip. no sound.   They are 48kz 24 bit wavs and I know Sonar converts on import - I even created a new project with the exact settings in case Sonar wasn't converting properly.  No success.
 
Any thoughts on why the AIFF worked and the wavs don't?  Very frustrating.

Could the wav files be far down the timeline? If so, deselect "Always Import Broadcast Waves At Their Timestamp" in Preferences > File > Audio Data

Ok losing my mind - converted the wav files to AIFF and they import - I am a WINDOWS user (10) Sonar Platinum and fully confused. I never use AIFF.

Yes that was it.  Thanks.  Also, they are wav files not sure why the groove clipping is stuttering.  I can always copy and paste but any thoughts on that?

Ok figured it out from a previous post about checking the loop construction window - all good and thanks for your quick reply.
